I’m a long-time fan of the brilliant Lisa Coleman and Wendy Melvoin.
Best known for their collaborations with Prince in the early-mid 1980s, they began their career as a duo in 1986. They currently score the music for the NBC-TV hit “Heroes” as well as the upcoming Fox series “Virtuality” and Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie”.

Their latest album ‘White Flags of Winter Chimneys’ was released in December 2008. It’s an excellent album, beautiful, haunting, powerful, funky, ALL that good stuff! If you want a BIG bit of satisfaction then treat yourself to their musical genius here!

I used a photo by the very talented Mr. Steve Parke as reference for these sketch cards which are 2.5 by 3.5 inches in size on watercolour card.
